Delicate Whites and Vibrant Shades of Coral

Christine and Michael  recently celebrated their marriage with a ceremony at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kirkwood and a reception at Oliva on the Hill.  They had gorgeous May weather and soft, romantic flowers for their day!  Images by Under Grace Photography.

Christine's bridal bouquet was a delicate mix of peonies, sweet pea, stock flower, roses, and dusty miller.

So sweet!

Shades of vintage peach and coral accented the vibrant bridesmaids' dresses.

This cake is so vibrant and pretty!  These coral peonies were some of the largest we have ever seen!

Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!  It was so fun being a part of your day!

Spring Wedding and Reception at Renaissance Grand

Lynette and Terrance had a gorgeous ceremony and reception in two of the wonderful spaces at the Renaissance Grand.  All the details mimicked their soft, classic style.  Images by L Photographie.

Lynette's bouquet was a lush mix of hydrangea, garden roses, and Sahara roses rounded out with dusty miller.

White hydrangea and dusty miller clutches for the bridesmaids.

Lynette was such a grateful and happy bride.  She even gave Emily and Shelly hugs when they delivered!

The ceremony was held upstairs in the Crystal Ballroom.  The natural light from the windows was awesome!

Such a happy couple!

The reception was held downstairs in the Statler Ballroom.  The guest tables featured these silver bowls with white and ivory blooms and dusty miller.

Luscious cake!

All our best to the happy couple!

Peonies in July!

We've blogged about it before, but sometimes the unexpected really does happen!! Robin, a sweet bride of ours, who married Paul in July, really wanted peonies in her bouquet. We told her we couldn't promise anything, since the July heat makes them nearly impossible to get. When the white peonies showed up at our studio, we were in awe! We had managed to get them in and they looked awesome! We were so happy to make that part of Robin's dream wedding day come true. Here are more pictures from Robin and Paul's special day. (Thanks to Von Devore Photography for these beautiful shots!)

Roses and peonies were what Robin envisioned for her bouquet.

Robin and Shayna, from St. Louis Wedding Consultants. We worked closely with Shayna to put details together for Robin's wedding.

Why is it that guys always look cuter in tuxes?? :)

The reception at Kemoll's used lots of red for a romantic feel. We provided tall vases full of red makara orchids and curly willow at half of the guest tables.

More red orchids for the cake!

We can't always promise a flower miracle here at Sisters, but we always try to make this possible. Sometimes, when we need a little luck, the flower gods smile on us! Best wishes to Paul and Robin!!!

Texture with dahlias and hydrangea

This September wedding of Kelley and Justin took place at St. Agatha's in Soulard and Lemp Mansion. These flowers are great examples of how texture can really bring added interest to bouquets. Notice how the different shapes and sizes of flowers really bring your eye in to see everything in the bouquets. Thanks to Lace for these beautifully detailed photos.

The bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets incorporated dark purples, blues, red, and greens for a very rich color palate.

Open roses, hydrangea, sedum, berries and dahlias all played a part in the lushness of Kelley's bouquet. Each flower added a unique element to the whole.

Simply gorgeous!

White cymbidiums were also worn as hair flowers.

The guys wore red spray roses with a little purple accent to match the girls.

The wedding party at St. Agatha's.

The cake was decorated with a few dark red dahlias on the top.

The centerpieces were so unique! Five tea tins were decorated by the bride with printed paper for each table. Sisters filled each tin with a cluster of wedding flowers in wedding colors. Each table was different and interesting.

Special thanks to Christy at All Dressed in White for coordinating an awesome event!
All our best to Kelley and Justin!! It was a pleasure working with you!

Reception at Crowne Plaza

Submerged cymbidium orchids in bright green and gold decorated half of the guest tables at this October reception at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton. The other half of the tables had lush, full arrangements of fall flowers including hydrangea, roses, berries, and filler. Take a look at these snapshots that our very own Sister, Chelsea, took at set-up.

June Bride

Let's warm our thoughts from chilly December and think about weddings in June! This happy couple, Christine and Jonathan, tied the knot this past June when it was much, much warmer! They were married at Bethel Lutheran Church with a reception at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Monsanto Hall. (Photos by Bernie Elking Photography)

Christine's bouquet was a mix of white peonies, light pink and ivory roses. We thought the flowers were as sweet as the bride's smile!!

Christine's make-up artist, Amanda Harris, did a great job highlighting the bride's naturally beautiful features. (Contact Amanda at 314-223-3836)

The bridesmaids carried mixed pink gerber daisy bouquets accented with jade berries.

The aisle at the church was lined with these silver julep cups filled to the top with peonies and roses. These cups were easily transported to the reception and used there to decorate.

The guest tables at Monsanto Hall had tall trumpet vases with curly willow branches, white hydrangea, and light pink roses for a very gardeny look at the gardens!

All our best to the bride, groom, and their lovely families!!
