Citrus Pops at Renaissance Grand's Crystal Ballroom

Susan and Brendan used bold colors to give their day an even brighter tone.  They were married at St. Luke the Evangelist and celebrated at the Renaissance Grand.  Here are some highlights from the happy day provided by Bobbi Brinkman Photography.

Susan wanted a lush bouquet of bright citrus greens and pinks with hints of traditional subdued ivories and blush.  We used peonies,  hypericum berries, stock flower, and roses to achieve this look.

Pretty bride!

Bridesmaids carried flowers that complimented the colors of the bridal bouquet.

Happy Groom!

Bright green hydrangeas lined the aisle and were re-purposed at the reception later.

The Crystal Ballroom all decked out.

Four cubes of roses- one color in each- were lined up geometrically on half of the guest tables for a formal and colorful centerpiece.

The other guest tables enjoyed a mixed arrangement of textures with the wedding shades.

Best wishes to the lovely couple!  We had fun designing your flowers and working with you and your families!

Curly Willow = Texture!

For this fall wedding, we worked with a bride who wanted a little something out of the ordinary. She loved texture but wanted to take it a step further. We included curly willow in the bouquets and boutonnieres for an added shot of interest.

The bridal bouquet included dahlias, berries, roses and willow.

The willow made a cute accent to the boys' flowers, too! It's amazing how versatile a branch can be!

Fruit and Flowers

Sisters designed these lush, fall arrangements for a rehearsal dinner last October. Our clients wanted to incorporate lots of texture and interest for the season. Fall roses, hydrangea, daises, berries and curly willow worked well together in the arrangements. We used red apples inside the cylinder vases to continue the fall color low on the table.

Fun with fruit and flowers!

Texture with dahlias and hydrangea

This September wedding of Kelley and Justin took place at St. Agatha's in Soulard and Lemp Mansion. These flowers are great examples of how texture can really bring added interest to bouquets. Notice how the different shapes and sizes of flowers really bring your eye in to see everything in the bouquets. Thanks to Lace for these beautifully detailed photos.

The bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets incorporated dark purples, blues, red, and greens for a very rich color palate.

Open roses, hydrangea, sedum, berries and dahlias all played a part in the lushness of Kelley's bouquet. Each flower added a unique element to the whole.

Simply gorgeous!

White cymbidiums were also worn as hair flowers.

The guys wore red spray roses with a little purple accent to match the girls.

The wedding party at St. Agatha's.

The cake was decorated with a few dark red dahlias on the top.

The centerpieces were so unique! Five tea tins were decorated by the bride with printed paper for each table. Sisters filled each tin with a cluster of wedding flowers in wedding colors. Each table was different and interesting.

Special thanks to Christy at All Dressed in White for coordinating an awesome event!
All our best to Kelley and Justin!! It was a pleasure working with you!

Reception at Crowne Plaza

Submerged cymbidium orchids in bright green and gold decorated half of the guest tables at this October reception at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton. The other half of the tables had lush, full arrangements of fall flowers including hydrangea, roses, berries, and filler. Take a look at these snapshots that our very own Sister, Chelsea, took at set-up.

Coral Callas at the Jewel Box

Sheena and Scott were married in September at the Jewel Box. We had the pleasure of designing their flowers. Here are some shots from that day.

The Jewel Box set up for the ceremony.

This linear bridal bouquet had coral callas lilies and white cymbidium orchids.

The bridesmaids carried coral gerber daisies accented with green hypericum berries.

Congratulations to wedding party and their families!

Bright and Beautiful May Wedding

These photos are from the wedding of Ashely and Michael. Bright greens and pinks with touches of ivory were used throughout the flowers. Take a peek! Images by Bernie Elking.

The bridal bouquet included roses, hydrangea, berries, and orchids. Small lace rosettes were made from the fabric of both mothers' wedding gowns. We placed them within the bridal bouquet to add a small personal and meaningful touch for Ashley.

Bright pinks and greens were used in the bridesmaids' flowers.

The groom wore a green orchid boutonniere to match the bridal bouquet.

At the Forest Park Visitors Center, we did a combination of high and low centerpieces in the bright wedding colors.

Congratulations and best wishes to the bride and groom from all of us at Sisters!
