Gold and Blush Tones

Allie and Michael celebrated their wedding day with friends and family in Columbia, MO last fall.  We designed soft, romantic flowers for their blush and gold color palette.  Photos by Megan Thiele.

Allie's bouquet was a mix of garden roses, peonies, and dahlias in gold and blush tones.

The bridesmaids carried a clutch of all Sahara roses.

The reception was a continuation of the blush and gold tones.  Low and high centerpieces focused on very soft, romantic, garden textures.

Hanging crystals added another formal touch to the large guest table centerpieces.

Exclusive Events, Inc. added lighting, fabric draping, and hanging candles to really deck out the reception.

Special thanks to Josie at Cosmopolitan Events for making all the details of this day a dream come true for Allie and Michael.

All our best to the newlyweds!

Rustic Mt. Vernon Wedding

Mary and Darrell enjoyed a beautiful wedding day at the Mitchell Museum in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Both the ceremony and reception were held on site.  The flowers reflected their rustic, yet romantic, wedding style.  Photos by Brea Photography.

Soft flowers were accented with rustic touches like twine wrap.

The wooden ceremony structure was set up inside the museum, in front of a floor-to-celing window of the fall landscape.  We decorated the structure with rustic blooms and branches.

The guest tables were long rectangles that featured both low, round arrangements and tall lighted branch arrangements.

What a beautiful day for a wedding!  We are glad to have been a part of it!

Textured Bouquet for a Winery Wedding

Julie and Kris were married at Chandler Hill Winery last fall.  Julie opted for a very textured bouquet to compliment her surroundings and the season.  We kept the flowers and colors very soft and lush to give the bouquet a very bridal feel.  Pictures by Love Trees Studio.

Congratulations Julie and Kris!

Hyatt at the Arch Wedding and Reception

Libby and Jorgen were the Bride and Groom from a designer's dream!  Not only were they sweet and kind, but they were very flexible about the details of the wedding.  They wanted a day that reflected them personally and let us design the best ways that flowers worked into their vision.  Photos by Beautiful Mess Photography.

So many fun personal touches throughout the day started with this cute little furry friend!

The bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of yellow blooms ranging from pale to bright.

Such a happy couple!

The reception was a mix of all the details the couple loved.  Three different types of centerpieces were used on the guest tables incorporating everything from bright color to subdued tones in varying styles.

Movies of all genres are a big part of Jorgen and Libby's lives, so each guest table had a movie theme complete with photos and a synopsis of story lines.

It was a joy and a  privilege to be a part of this wedding!  We are so happy for the newlyweds!!

Vintage Circus Wedding at City Museum

Sally and John had one of the most original weddings we have ever been a part of here at Sisters Floral Design Studio.  They wanted a fun and light-hearted event for themselves and their guests.  They opted for a vintage circus theme.  The colors and details of the day were awesome!  The ceremony and reception were held at the perfect location- the City Museum!  Pictures by Megan Thiele.

Sally's bouquet was a reflection of the entire day's theme.  Vintage blues were incorporated with bright circus tones in a layered-style bouquet.

The bridesmaids carried yellow and red bouquets to contrast their vintage blue dresses.

A classic red carnation boutonniere was just right for John.

The ceremony site was decorated with circus touches to give the guests a taste of the evening's theme.

So playful!

The reception was full of fun details!  The flowers were the same bright colors with vintage blue with fun feather and circus elements added in.

This wedding was so fun to be a part of!  Thanks to Josie and the staff at Cosmopolitan Events for designing such an amazing event!

Best wishes to John and Sally for a fun-filled life together!
