Winter Wedding at Our Lady of Lourdes

Kelly and Tyler embraced the snow at their wedding last December.  Here are some fun shots of them by Kelly Pratt.

We designed Kelly's bouquet in traditional all white with light feather accents.  Her maids carried all velvety red blooms.

Who needs fun in the sun when you can have fun in the snow?!

Such a sweet couple and a pleasure to work with!

Special thanks to Kate & Company for coordinating the day from start to finish!

Black and White Decor for a Missouri History Museum Wedding

Libby and Marc celebrated their marriage with a wedding and reception at the Missouri History Museum.  Here are a few images of the details of their day. (Photos by Joel Marion Photography)

Such excitement!
The black and white ceremony was in the same room as the reception.  After the wedding was over, the room was flipped and many of the details seen here were moved to make room for their unique table settings.

The flowers were designed to compliment the black and white decor.  Libby's bouquet was all white with black and white anemones featured on top.  The bridesmaids carried all white callas.

The lower centerpieces in the room were these sleek-looking tulip vases.  What a fun bloom for a December wedding!

More black and white details for the reception.

All our best to the newlyweds and their families!

Special thanks to Lacy Branch for bringing everything together and making it grand!

Rainy Wedding Day at Salem United Methodist and Cedar Lake Cellars

Kelsy and Jeffrey had a unique wedding day.  Rain showers couldn't take away their bright smiles as they shared their vows at Salem United Methodist Church.  Their awesome day continued with a celebration at Cedar Lake Cellars.  Enjoy these images from Switzer Film.

Just as sweet as they can be!

Kelsy's bouquet was rustic and textured, but still had hints of formal and traditional.  She loved the green succulents that we added to the bouquet.

The centerpieces were full, low arrangements of traditional hydrangea with the addition of some pops of fall oranges and subtle antique peach.  The textured greenery and leaf wrap really brought it all together for this winery reception.

The rain made for a very pretty evening sky!

Best wishes to the bride and groom!  It was a pleasure to be a part of your day!

Classic with Texture

Many of our current brides are asking for an updated version of a classic design for their bouquet.  Here is an example of how an all white and ivory bouquet can be made more modern by incorporating lots of textures.  (Photos by Julia Noack)

Ashley wanted a soft and romantic all white and ivory bouquet.  Though the overall style is more traditional, we added lots of textures to give the flowers interest and definition.  We used two sizes of roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, and a platinum greenery.

To contrast Ashley's bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets were soft clutches of one type of flower- blue hydrangea.

Classic can still be fun!

Best wishes to Ashley and Garrick!

Vintage Blush Tones at the Renaissance Grand

One of our favorite venues is the Renaissance Grand.  We were so happy to work with Heather and Michael on their Renaissance wedding and reception last June.  Enjoy the detailed images of their day courtesy of  L Photographie.

One of our favorite bouquets of last year was this stunner.  It was simple yet so romantic with these antique blush garden roses, white peonies, and silver dusty miller to frame the blooms.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of ivory, champagne, and blush that included hydrangea, stock flower, roses, and dusty miller.

Such a sweet groom!  We really love this shot of Micheal and his ranunculus boutonniere.

A perfect match!  Such a lovely couple!

The ceremony was held in the Hawthorne Room at the Renaissance.

Clusters of wedding flowers were tied onto the chairs for the ceremony.

Similar but larger flower clusters were tied onto the front legs of the chuppah and reused on the bar at the reception in one big vase.

After the ceremony, guests moved into the Statler Ballroom for the reception.  The tables were decorated with tall and short arrangements of full blush and ivory blooms.

Time to celebrate!

All our best wishes to you, Heather and Michael!  You two were such fun to work with!  Special thanks to you and your families!

Fall Textures Featuring Dahlias!

Tara and Patrick enjoyed a beautiful fall wedding day.  The flowers we designed for them included lots of texture including an abundant fall flower- dahlias.  Dahlias are such a fun bloom, add texture and come in a number of colors.  Take a peek with images from  Bobbi Brinkman Photography.

Tara's bouquet was a mixture of small and large blooms- roses, stock flower, hydrangea, berries, and dahlias.  The dahlias here are in ivory and add a petal-y softness to the bouquet.

This sweet little flower girl is holding a small clutch of burgundy dahlias.  Dahlias can be rich-looking and full of texture all on their own.

Best wishes to the happy newlyweds!

Soft Spring Wedding at Graham Chapel and Forest Park Visitors Center

Here's a peek at a fresh, spring wedding to remind us that spring is coming!  Danny and Christina were married at Graham Chapel and celebrated with their friends and family at Forest Park Visitors Center.  Everything was very soft and romantic.  Pictures by Zettl Photography.

All the bouquet flowers were soft in color and texture.  Garden roses, dahlias, stock flower, hydrangea, and ranunculus are just a few of the blooms included in these clutches.

A decorated canopy framed the couple during the ceremony.  Aisle clusters of wedding flowers softened the aisle.

Low and tall lush arrangements decorated the guest tables at Forest Park Visitors Center.

Special thanks to Sabrina and the team at Proposing Dreams for planning another wonderful wedding!  Best wishes to the bride and groom!
