New Year's Eve Weddings

Sisters Flowers had two New Year's Eve weddings!! Both were classy and elegant in their own stylish way. Take a look at some of the snapshots we took of our set-up that day!!

WEDDING AT HILTON BALLPARK

This wedding used red, burgundy, and white for it's decor. These tall arrangements on top of pilsner vases left the middle of the vase clear with the flowers starting above the guests' heads. The flowers included snapdragons, hydrangea, roses, and stock.

These cube vases, filled with stock, roses, and alstromeria, also went on guest tables.

The combination of high and low arrangements really gave each table it's own interesting feature.

Look at the view from this ballroom!!

WEDDING AT THE RITZ

The decor of this reception was a very formal dark red/burgundy and black.

These centerpieces were 36 roses in a spray on top of trumpet vases. Each vase had clear rocks in the bottom with an LED light shining up into the vase.

These velvety black magic roses were just the right fit with the linens and color scheme of the ballroom.

Thanks to both the Knudson and Noonan families! It was a pleasure working with you on your beautiful weddings!! All our best to the newlyweds!!

Flowers for a wedding show

This past Sunday, we helped out Lacy from Lacy Branch Events with flower decor for her booth at a local wedding show. Here are pictures that Lacy took of her awesome booth!!

Lacy brought us inspiration pictures to give us an idea of the kind of look she wanted for her booth. We modified and combined those ideas and came up with this large centerpiece.

The column holding up the large flowers at the top are several stacked cube vases with pink cymbidium orchids inside.

The top arrangement is full of bright pink roses, white hydrangea, seeded eucalyptus, and white ostrich feathers.

Lacy added all kinds of details (crystals, lights, candles, etc.) to give her whole table one fluid style. Read more about her design ideas on her blog! (http://www.lacybranchevents.blogspot.com/)

Thanks, Lacy, for letting us be a part of your wedding show design!!

Two Unique Flowers

Two flowers that are both unique and beautiful are phalaenopsis orchids and nerene lilies. Kim, one of our bride's chose to use both in her wedding flowers. Here are some shots by Artistic View Photography.

The bridal bouquet was a mixture of white phalaenopsis orchids and pink nerene lilies with a white hydrangea background. The orchids are such a seemingly light and elegant flower, while still exotic.

The bridesmaids' carried round bouquets for white ranunculus and pink nerene lilies. The flowers contrast each other well in color and shape to add a lot of texture to the arrangement.

Best wishes to the bride and groom!!
