Blush & Ivory Are Here to Stay!

Allie and Michael were trend-setters with their wedding day color palette of blush, ivory, and gold in 2012.  Looking back at these pictures just reminds us what a timeless look this popular combination was, has become and continues to be- even for weddings into 2017!  We designed soft, romantic flowers for their autumn wedding in Colombia, MO.  Photos by Megan Thiele.

Allie's bouquet was a mix of garden roses, peonies, and dahlias in gold, ivory and blush tones.

The bridesmaids carried a clutch of all Sahara roses.

The reception was a continuation of the blush, ivory and gold tones.  Low and high centerpieces focused on very soft, romantic, garden textures.

Hanging crystals added another formal touch to the large guest table centerpieces.

Exclusive Events, Inc. added lighting, fabric draping, and hanging candles to really deck out the reception.

Josie and the team at Cosmopolitan Events were an integral part of this event and we were excited to be a part of the team of vendors.

Blush and ivory are a very romantic combination and it's no wonder they continue to be seen in bridal publications and all over social media.

Botanical Garden Bouquets

Oh, how we wish for summer!  We loved this summer Missouri Botanical Gardens wedding.  The lush textures and soft, romantic blooms were so fun to design and arrange.  We combined roses, dahlias, stock flower, lisianthus, succulents, and three natural-looking greenery varieties to give our bride this look.  We are thinking warm and thinking weddings at our studio this week!!  Image by Megan Thiele Studios.

Blush Pink & Ivory Wedding & Reception at the Westin

Kerri and Westley are a lovely couple we had the pleasure of working with on their December wedding.  They said their vows and celebrated their marriage at the Westin.  Here are a few of the photos from the amazing Megan Thiele.

Kerri's bouquet was a blush and ivory mix of peonies (yes in December!) and roses with a collar of seeded eucalyptus.

The bridesmaids carried a mix of white hydrangea and blush spray roses with the added texture of the seeded eucalyptus.

The ceremony and reception were held in the same room at the Westin.  The guest table flowers were used to line the aisle first and then "flipped" for the reception.

Blush pink and ivory roses, tulips, and hydrangeas decorated all the tables- some were low and mixed and others were a deconstructed look with a few different vases.

Many happy wishes to the sweet couple!!

Vintage Circus Wedding at City Museum

Sally and John had one of the most original weddings we have ever been a part of here at Sisters Floral Design Studio.  They wanted a fun and light-hearted event for themselves and their guests.  They opted for a vintage circus theme.  The colors and details of the day were awesome!  The ceremony and reception were held at the perfect location- the City Museum!  Pictures by Megan Thiele.

Sally's bouquet was a reflection of the entire day's theme.  Vintage blues were incorporated with bright circus tones in a layered-style bouquet.

The bridesmaids carried yellow and red bouquets to contrast their vintage blue dresses.

A classic red carnation boutonniere was just right for John.

The ceremony site was decorated with circus touches to give the guests a taste of the evening's theme.

So playful!

The reception was full of fun details!  The flowers were the same bright colors with vintage blue with fun feather and circus elements added in.

This wedding was so fun to be a part of!  Thanks to Josie and the staff at Cosmopolitan Events for designing such an amazing event!

Best wishes to John and Sally for a fun-filled life together!
