Shelby's bouquet was a classic mix of white and ivory blooms with formal phalenopsis orchids featured.



The maids carried a complementary design of white and ivory flowers.

These tall pieces were moved from the ceremony and were used on the family tables.

Autumn Wedding and Coronado Ballroom Celebration

Nicole and Andrew were married last fall at St. Raphael and enjoyed a celebration with their friends and family at Coronado Ballroom.  Their style was very organic and textured while still romantic and vintage.  Take a look at these photos from Jordan Brittley.

Nicole's bouquet was a mix of all white and ivory blooms with accents of seeded eucalyptus and berries for some fall texture.

Lucy is the couple's furry baby.  She wore a collar of greenery and roses for the photos!

These fresh boxwood wreaths were hung on the doors at the church.  They were moved to the Coronado for the cocktail hour after the ceremony.

An asymmetrical piece for the placecard table outside the reception gave the guests a glimpse of what was coming in the ballroom.

The textures of the ceremony were repeated on the guest tables with the addition of some deep jewel tones for a pop of color.

Gold accents were used on the tables to compliment the gold in the room.

Classic Coronado Ballroom Wedding and Reception

Alex and Katie had a gorgeous wedding filled with LOTS of lush flowers.  Here is how they celebrated their vows with their friends and family.  (Photos by Kelly Pratt Photography)

All the flowers for the day were formal white and ivory blooms.  Katie's bouquet was a mix of standard and garden roses against a hydrangea background.

The ceremony at the Coronado.

The canopy that framed the couple was covered in branches and white blooms.  The aisle was lined with vases of flowers and candles that we re-used at the reception as guest tables centerpieces.

Opposite guest tables had tall vintage-shaped vases filled with white hydrangea.

 

So cute!

Vows at Coronado Ballroom

 On a very pretty day this past May, Colleen and Josh said "I do" at the Coronado ballroom.  Here are some gorgeous shots by L Photographie.

Colleen opted for a very traditional, textured bridal bouquet.  Classic can be so beautiful.

Dark purple and blue tones were used in the rest of the personal flowers.

Blue and purple blooms decorated the canopy for the ceremony.

Peonies in November and a Reception at Coronodo Ballroom

Here are more images of Jill and Mark's wedding that we previously wrote about. They were married at a ceremony in Belleville with a reception at the Coronado ballroom. Their wedding was formal with a few soft touches throughout. Most of the flowers were in whites and ivories with hints of purples. Here at the studio, our designers were excited for Jill because the out-of-season peonies came in for her bouquet. They were a soft, special touch of elegance.

Reception at Cornado Ballroom

Jill and Mark had a beautiful, formal fall wedding reception at the Coronado Ballroom. The tones at the reception mimic the neutrals of the ceremony. Everything look lush in that gorgeous ballroom!

Point of View and Coronado--David and Traci's Big Day!

We have been dying to share some of the awesome photos of David and Traci's wedding. If you are keeping up with our blogs-which we're certain you are-you know that our very own David wed his beautiful bride, Traci, in early July. Sisters Flowers was so thrilled to design and create the flowers for such an awesome day. Here are some of the many unbelievable photos taken by Burns Photography.


All the Sisters got to design first for the rehearsal dinner being held at Point of View. We wanted to create a more organic feel as a little nod to David. Here is what we came up with.





Green and orange were our two playful colors. The guest tables had a wooden box filled with textured plants and grasses. The box was surrounded by a wreath of packed orange roses and tucked in candles. The head table had the a round, green arrangement with tall taper candles surrounded by an orange rose wreath. We enjoyed coming up with special touches like a moss "D" and "T" for the bride and groom's chairs.

Then came the big day.........

Awwww.......the cute couple.

The Coronado was the setting for the wedding and reception. It is such an inspiring space when coming up with a design. The placecard table had a large wire urn filled with hydrangea and was topped off with white phalaenopsis orchids. It sat on a base of bright flowers packed into colorful rows.

Traci's bouquet was a cascade of all phalaenopsis orchids, lush and draping.

The ceremony looked like a romantic fairytale. The aisle was lined with candles and flowers. the canopy covering the vows was full of every type of white flower imaginable. Long crystals draped from the back of the canopy reflected all of the soft light in the room.

The reception was simply awesome. Every table was filled with vases of white flowers- orchids, peonies, hydrangea, roses......it was amazing.

The aisle flowers were used again on guest tables as centerpieces. Submerged flowers were alternated with candles and lush arrangements to give the aisle vases a whole new look for the second act.

It was such a delight to be a part of your day, Mr. and Mrs. Testrake! All the best to you!
